East Cape Health Center is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide all members of the East Cape community with basic, preventive and urgent health care, regardless of their ability to pay.
Our Non-profit conducts a variety of community outreach and educational programs to achieve our mission.
Health screening and educational workshops to promote community awareness in disease detection and treatment of chronic illness such as Diabetes and cardiovascular disease.
Our dental personnel go into the local schools and alberques (boarding schools for the rancher's children) providing dental hygiene instruction and evaluation. Each child is programmed for a follow-up appointment in the Dental Clinic with treatment as necessary, at no cost to the family.
Assistance with emergency medical response and crisis intervention in humanitarian and natural disasters through our affiliation with the local police and Cruz Roja (Red Cross).
Home health services including rehabilitation, elder care, and hospice care.
Through the generosity of your donation, the East Cape Health Center provides clinical evaluation, treatment, and medication to those who cannot afford basic medical health care.
In addition, we are able to provide our community service with an on-site physician, registered nurse, chemist and diagnostic tools, at a reduced cost.
